Request "Damaged" on Irish Radio Stations
Ok so Damaged is currently not being played on Irish radio but it is available now on itunes and the album is coming out on the 21st. Not alot of people here watch MTV anymore but Irish people are BIG into listening to the radio and the girls are guaranteed to fail here unless radio picks up on it quickly and no artist is complete until they have experienced an Irish audience.....Justin Timberlake was reduced to tears on his latest tour when he played here because the atmosphere was so electric. We need everyone to start emailing Irish radio stations and sending myspace/bebo messages like crazy!
This first radio station is the biggest one in the country and is listened to by all age groups but mostly teens to 30's age group. There are a rake of contacts for this station.

Our mission: To promote the girls and have them take over the music industry.
This is the BIGGEST DK Movement ever coordinated. With the help of fellow SBXers, DKIers, DROers (hopefully), and new DK fans, we will come together as one to promote Danity Kane. Everyone has their specific forum(s) that they like to post in, and everyone has their favorite girl which is great. The purpose of this “operation” is to join up together as one; no matter where you post or who you love the most, and get Danity Kane the promotion they DESERVE and not necessarily receiving.
We all know what happened last time. This time, we will be prepared. Throughout the next couple months, we will be promoting and supporting like crazy. We need to show BBE and our girls how much we support and love them. This is how:
First Step: Spread the Love and Show It
From now and throughout the show, we need to be spreading out information that DK is back on MTV and that they are coming out with a new album. Tell EVERYONE you know! “You know DK? They are back on TV!...” etc…All you MySpace users, it’s BULLETIN TIME! Send them out every week. “Check out MTV on Monday, January 28th at 10pm”…”Are you a DK fan? Join us at the forums…” You get the gist of it.
If by any chance, a radio station in your city still plays “Showstopper”, let me know. Ideally, I would love to have people start calling and requesting, but I was told that if songs aren’t on the top 100/200, stations don’t have it on rotation which means they won’t play it. So this part is kind of a work in progress until we get a new single.
Next is Showing Some Love. It’s time we take over MySpace. Message/ comment on DK’s Myspace page. After all, BBE is the one reading DK’s page. Show DK some love…”I can’t wait for the new CD”…”You guys rock…”….”We blame Diddy”…(I was kidding on the last one by the way!). In seriousness tho, try to keep everything positive no matter what we are doing whether it’s messaging Diddy, or calling up a radio station. We represent DK and the last thing we want is to *mod*edit*please watch your language* off the people that can promote them.
Lastly and just as important, show our ladies some love! Go to their pages and send them a little message. Make them smile just like I’m sure they have made you smile!
Like I said, this is team effort. I invite everyone that hasn’t joined the other forums, to go check them out. At DKI, there is a special tread created for this cause so you guys can talk about it in more detail. They are real cool over there…:)
I know there are some other sub forums out there. If you would like to join the cause, just let me know and I’ll add you to the list.
As for the “official” DK forum, we need to start visiting there more often as soon as the new season starts. I’m sure there will be a lot of new people going over there that need to be lead to the right place (ANY of the forums would be good). Send them this way so they can join the DK fam.
So for now, that’s the mission. As it gets closer to the show, we’ll start on Step Two. If anyone has any ideas/comments/questions feel free to email me. I also want to start putting together a massive list of radio stations and contact info for later.
