Wanita"D.Woods" Woodgette

D. Woods was born Wanita Woodgette in Springfield, Massachusetts. She lived there until the age of 14 when the Woodgette family moved to ATL. D. Woods was sent to dance classes as a young child by her mother who wanted some free time to herself! What Mrs Woodgette didn't realise was that it would give little Wanita the passion and drive to become an alround performer. Aswell as becoming proficient many areas of dancing including baller, hip hop, modern dance and many more she also gained a degree in acting. When Wanita made it into Danity Kane she decided to go by her performing name of "D. Woods" which she used as her "performing" name before Danity Kane as it was easier to remember and pronounce that her birth name.

Since becoming a member of hit reality show Making the Band's Danity kane she has continued to develop her singing, writing, dancing, acting and presenting skils. Aswell as going through gruelling singing and dancing sessions with her bandmates, D. Woods is also part of a song writing club called "The Girls Club" with a close friend and her sister. Some songs that were wrote and produced by "The Girls Club" were released on myspace by the 3 girls. The songs were heard by surprised fans and the great debate started on whether they were loved or hated! The risque songs shocked some but were loved by others. Others, including gossip blogs began to believe that D. Woods had left Danity Kane for The Girls Club which she later revealed to be completely untrue.

D. Woods has also become involved in presenting and has a slot on http://www.flow.tv . She is also about to release a fitness and workout dvd with her fellow Girls Club members called "Crunk Abs." For D. Woods birthday in July she released a cinematic invite to her joint birthday with Marques Owens. Fans were left amazed with her performance and the invite left many D. Woods and Danity Kane fans anticipating what was coming next.

We are sure that in the next stage of their career, D. Woods will continue to excite her fans with the unexpected talents she continues to show us. Known as AUBREY's partner in crime when it comes to having fun we are sure she will keep us entertained on the new season of Making the Band.
